The purpose of this facility is to allow members to communicate easily with each other regarding transport to running events. Access to the site is via member's membership number and registered email address, which will be cross-referenced and verified. Where family members share the same email address, your membership number will identify you. There is no need to pre-register, and passwords are not used.
This can be used to indicate that you require a lift, or are prepared to offer a lift. Once you enter the site, you may see a list of events including dates that other members have submitted; or you may be the first to submit an event. By clicking on the event, or entering a new event, you are asked to indicate whether you are offering or requesting, your contact details (email and/or phone number), and approximate location. Then it's up to fellow members to respond.
